Great coaches realise that coaching is a very successful method of helping other people to learn new skills and behaviours in a positive and motivational manner. Great coaches are able to use successful models and techniques in order to develop their team.

They do this by living and practising the 6 transformational virtues of Meaning, Affiliation, Security, Trust, Empathy and Recognition. As a result, they connect with their people on a fundamental level that positively inspires. Ultimately, great coaches get the very best from their people.

This results in staff who are motivated, willing and able to perform better. These people also act as goodwill ambassadors for your company and will talk to others about how good it feels to work for an organisation that cares about its staff.

On the other hand, poor or mediocre coaches fail to connect with their people and therefore never manage to get the best from your staff. Because they don’t understand what coaching is, they see it as another method of controlling their people and of course this just doesn’t work.

Coaching is a skill which can be learnt. Our Coaching program has been developed carefully over the last few years to become a very successful model for personal change.
“I found our trainer to be open and honest with a high level of integrity. As a coach he was understanding, with a unique ability to get the best from people and help them discover their inner strengths. As a trainer he was clear and concise and made me crave the information he had. As a person he was likeable, kind and trustworthy. Without reservation, I can say that his help, guidance and coaching have made me a better manager and indeed a better person. I would highly recommend the services of Oakland.”
